When it snows I get this feeling inside of me. A great joy and excitement. When you look outside and all you see is a white blanket of snow covering the ground. You look down the street to see if any one is awake, and you run out in your pajamas to feel the cold snow. Snowflakes falling heavily all around you, you feel like you are encompassed in your own world.
You run inside to turn on the television, crossing your fingers there will be no school. As you wait for your county to pass by, all of a sudden there it is...NO SCHOOL! What a great feeling it is. You call all of your friends and tell them to get ready, to put on their boots and grab their sleds, and to meet out on the hill.
We play outside all day. Having the time of your life. Rolling around in the cold snow, because it feels so good. As we slowly get tired we all run inside to sit by the warm fire and drink hot chocolate. The day slowly comes to an end, you are tired and ready for bed, but that one day of no school was such a blast, you can't wait for it to come again!!
